The mission of the Brookhaven Rosa Parks Democratic Association is to educate and inform residents of the community about the importance of being involved in the political process.
Founded July 27, 2006 to promote democratic ideals, while improving the democratic processes throughout Long Island, NY.

Our purpose is to promote political activity and to ensure equal access to government for all citizens;

to encourage participation in the selection of Democratic candidates running for public offices;
to provide educational and social activities for the benefit of our communities;
to share in activities with those who believe in the principals of the Democratic Party, and to promote its ideals while ensuring that the rights of our citizens as promised in the Constitution of the United States of America, are enforced.
